This is definitely a challenging situation many parents face today. Instead of immediately shutting down Lily’s idea, try having an open conversation about her plans. Ask her about her content strategy, how she’ll generate income, and what makes her stand out in a crowded field.
Consider proposing a compromise: she can pursue content creation after school hours and on weekends while completing her education. Many successful influencers have degrees to fall back on. You might also suggest relevant courses (marketing, communications) that would actually support her goals.
